Guys and Gals,

I have done a search and havent found anything pertaining to this.

This may be really simple, and something I have overlooked so forgive me, but.....

Is there a way a customer can add an item to cart, to reserve for collection at a physical location (store) and get a unique order number possibly, which they can then print off, and take with them to the store when they want to collect the item?

couldn't they just check out, pay and leave a comment on the order that they want to pick up the item?

if you don't want to depend on comments you could alter or duplicate the free shipping method and rename it "Pick Up at Store" or something like that.
