Hi there,
I have tried to upload some images to my store. But I have a feeling that the image was to large. Every time I try and go to the products page I get this error.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 26544 bytes) in /home/therite/public_html/system/library/image.php on line 34
Please note that this is a clean install
Can anyone help?

The php.ini maxima were too low. For example, your "67108864 bytes exhausted" means that for what you were doing the 64M setting for memory limit was too low. The explicit settings to try are listed -- memory limit is one of them. The key lines go into both php.ini, assuming that the server honors your own php.ini files (many to most servers will honor them). If not, then your next easy recourse is your host control panel, in php settings.
When OC makes thumbnails from the originals uploaded by you, it does its best but is not a formal graphics program. You should give it something to start with that is reasonable, already in the kb range at 96 dpi, for example. Sending up an enormous file with high resolution will be counterproductive (that is not the place for a 20 mb, 1200 dpi, 32 bit image that in other contexts could be deemed small).
