Creating interactive banners

Hi there

We currently run an image banner on the front of our site (http://www.stickerscape.co.uk) however I'd like to add a bit more functionality to this by adding buttons and call to actions across it. A good example would be this, http://themeforest.net/item/apparel-ope ... f=opencart, where the "Shop now" button becomes interactive rather than the whole thing being an image.

I'm getting there with actually creating the images/slices/code in Photoshop & Dreamweaver for this but is there anyway to then load this into the Opencart banner?

I might be missing something but the Shop Now button in that theme doesn't seem to link to anything so can't see what it's functionality is.

It is most likely it will just take you to the category for the product being displayed as the link from the whole of the graphic, rather than doing anything clever.

Someone else may know better of course

I'm basically trying to replicate, but have an image with multiple links on it going to different URLs. I can create the images and button using Photoshop and my limited Dreamweaver knowledge(!) but then not sure how to get this into a format that will work in the image slider. Unless it's only possible to have this outside an image slider i.e. a static bit HTML?

No idea I'm afraid, hopefully someone will know.
