coupon

Hi,
Testing the coupon feature. OC1.4
At the Basket I type in the code and apply.
I get - ¨Success your Coupon Discount has been applied¨
But the sub-total is not reduced, I have checked the coupon setting including finish date, is this a bug?

there are a lot of posts on this. You likely aren't configuring the "Total Amount". This is the amount that must be reached before the coupon will take effect

Still does not work.
I have a low amount in total amount box, it is enabled in Extentions also.
Update:
I have gone to the order confirmation page and the discount is applied.
It says on the basket page ¨See the discount Applied¨ this will be a nightmare when I go live.
Would it be possible to change the wording to discount applied at checkout.
Trouble is I am used to MS Frontpage I have no idea about php or how I could alter the text.
Any help appreciated.

It workes it is just on the wrong page or the wording wants changing.
to say it shows the discount at checkout, not the basket.
How do you get to the xhtml source code to alter the text.

language folder is a good place to start

is there any way to display the discount being applied on the basket page? as lashman is saying, the basket page (example on the demo) says "Enter your code, hit the "Apply Coupon" button and watch your discount instantly be applied to your order", when you click enter you get the success message at the top in green, but nothing else, no instant applying. this is extremely confusing for me, let alone the customer. the coupon then isn't shown until the very very last page before ordering, which i doubt many customers would go to if they want to use the coupon as they may submit by accident without using the coupon which is likely what brought them there in the first place.

any way to get it shown instantly on the basket page?

Is there already a solution for this problem?

unfortunately i am yet to find one, still on the look out so if one comes up i'll post back

I'm getting the same thing... discount not applied to cart only on order confirmation...
