If you want a simple setup, simple form creation and streamlined tools for setting up sequences and broadcasts, choose AWeber.
If you plan to do a lot of customization on your own to lists, integration with a variety of platforms with a lot more technical flexibility, choose MailChimp.
I'm on a legacy AWeber account so I'm lacking the advanced segmenting of the newer account types but my fees are a lot lower. I also don't have a lot of time to do custom integrations into my platforms so right now I don't have a need for MailChimp. Once I get into more advanced customer list management needs for re-marketing I'll switch to MailChimp.

Don't fall for the scam of the developer named Mr. Tech. The extension doesn't work, he say's he'll fix it but it's been months, I asked for my money back but he didn't answer.
