This has been frustrating me now for a while. I'm on 1.5.5.1 and everytime I try to upload a picture, the image manager crashes(it works once every while times though), sometimes crashing the browser and then sends me back into the login screen.
My situation is the same as this thread: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?t=56429 except that i'm on 1.5.5.1.
Has anyone got any idea what's causing this as its going to take a long time putting products in without this fixed?

I thought it was just me that things happened so incredible! I'm having this same problem.
Do not know if it was deleted because the original images (model) also excludes from the database, it has to do with the index which is in the images folder, if it is on account of vqmods used (filemultiuplod, vqmodfilemanageruploadsize, resize-image-upload-freev1.0.0), if the hosting and permission settings, etc..
I've checked everything and nothing to fix. Seems to be related to the "Banners in Slideshow", but also occurs in any other upload the default manager. Not only occurs in the "store localhost".
I've desisntalei all vqmods suspects and continues. I suspect it is the hosting server where my store (hostinger).
Once drop message appeared accusing problems with java query. I'm suspicious that the cause of this problem is in java, some query.
