I have final moved the project hosting to github.

https://github.com/opencart

What does this mean?

it means i can start taking advantage of gits ability to push, pull and clone projects.

it means the community can start getting more involved by cloning the opencart repository make changes then push the changes opencarts master branch.

should be interesting either way.

What happens to the SVN on Google Code? Is it moved over to GitHub too? Do I need to change the path in my Subversion client to GitHub now?

So we could push translations (free ones) to, directly to opencart now? Because lithuanian tanslation is on github too :)

P.S. Good news for developers community :)
P.S.S. GitHub has organizations, and teams in it, so you could create like Lithuanian translation team, and I person (like me, beause I'm a lead developer of lithuanian translation) had access to push&pull function. So from lithuanian github page I could directly push translation. What do you think?

There's a tutorial http://adventureswith.net/using-tortois ... -tutorial/ but I suggest to use GitHub for Windows.

That program really sucks BIGTIME in taking up diskspace and processor performance!

What a whale to use :choke:

Moving to github is maybe handy from a developers point of view, fur "us" it is a nightmare setting up.

I think the pull request feature is worth the effort of switching to GitHub.

Now that 1.5.4 is released are there any plans to have two branches. One with just bug fixes and one with the fixes and new features?
