I've updated the on-site user documentation with the new features in 1.5.2: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... umentation

I have also written a free, 10-page "What's New in 1.5.2?" with full-color screenshots for anyone who wants to see the new features in action: http://bit.ly/open152stuff

Last but not least, I've updated the OpenCart 1.5 User Manual to include all the new features. This includes the downloadable ebook and the paperback that is sold on Amazon.com.

Your writer-in-residence,
Merry

Tax classes and tax rates settings have changed in 1.5.2.

See attachment.

Please update your manual.

Hello,

Wouldn't it be nice of you could search in the Secure PDF that you sell? I bought the manual and feel a bit disappointed. :D

Cheers

Yes to me that book you are selling is just the onscreen documentation with some big text and icons.

Eg only 2 pages to explain how the layout works, come on !

Great documentation thanks. Very well done with good screen shots and good brief details that are easy to understand!

But like most documentation I ever see, it goes through each menu option and tells you what it does,

But in my experience over many years of computer tuition, what people really want is the reverse of that.

They need to know who to do this or how to do that.

Thanks, that's really helpful feedback. We'll definitely be making tutorial type articles that do that, but it's important to list the basic information first, which should provide a good platform for specific help topics.
