But none of them change that much around. And they will never be modding the payment tpl files.Xsecrets wrote:well to give the theme developers the benefit of the doubt there are still quite a few inline styles so you really have to make more changes than you should if you are completely changing things around.Qphoria wrote:The theme guide is for creating new templates. does the upgrade replace all the files or only the updated ones? I have a highly modified 1.4.8 that I would like to update, but I don't dare to because I'm worried that my changes might not work anymore.

Hi burrito, you are right to worry I have had to save a clients site as they done exactly that and most of the modified files got written over.burrito wrote:does the upgrade replace all the files or only the updated ones? I have done 4 of these upgrades from 1.4.8 to 1.4.9.1 on really heavily moded systems and it just takes a bit of time to go through all the files listed and do a comparison, I have used automatic packages before but they always miss something so suggest doing it manually with the software package WinMerge, also I would suggest setting up a test site to test your modified features before you edit your live site. Of course you need the programming skills too.

Hi can you still upgrade from 1.4.8 to 1.4.9.1 without any issues, could anyone who does this post if it worked correctly?
Thanks
Thanks
I upgraded my A Trade For A Trade site from 1.4.8 to 1.4.9.1 with absolutely no problems. I keep a list of every edit I make outside the template folder, and then I just go through that list and reapply the changes once I upgrade. It's by far the easiest way I've found to do it, and I can upgrade my installation in about an hour. If you don't keep a list of changes, I highly recommend making one (by using a diff comparison tool) and then just add to it whenever you make a controller/model/admin/system change.
Just update my online shop and it went success without any hassle.

Hello, I currently use version 1.48b, now I want to upgrade to the latest version 1.49.1 I do?
I just saw the PATCH from 1:49 to version 1.49.1, I do not see the Patch to upgrade from version 1.48b to 1:49 anyway. Everyone can help me this problem or not?
