Yes it was very busy.

I even spoke to prestashop. it was interesting to hear they have around 80 people working for them.

it was annoying seeing magneto there. a massive stand. they only got it because paypal was paying for everything. I very much doubt magneto is profitable in terms of supplying a eCommerce software to company's. we have over half their traffic and even double the traffic would not cover the investment of 180 million USD that paypal put in. paypals only making money from magneto for all the transactions fees it receives from sellers using it.

all the web development companys we spoke to said they had switched from magneto to opencart because it was to hard to code with and server resources cost to much.

that is true Daniel, I started to install and run my eCommerce website on magneto in first place(2009), however I am not coder or do not knowledge of PHP and database, soon I realized that it was too complicated and expensive(as a small business) and then I found OPENCART(glade to found) since then I am playing with it and yes I would like to say "Simple way to start eCommerce by Opencart"- Simple but very effective. However as I said I do not have knowledge of PHP but still I can manage to edit, run and update my website easily.

Thanks a lot Daniel.

Thanks for sharing the pictures Daniel.
Clearly a busy place and an important venue to promote Opencart.

You might be interested to go to the Paris Expo next year, to brush up your french ;)
Here is the link : http://en.ecommerceparis.com/

Prestashop is likely to be big at that one.

Just saw these pictures, awesome set-up Daniel. Good to hear it went well. Maybe PayPal should see my payflow link extension (only one for OpenCart) and give me an investment lol.

I believe he was sarcastic. Magento is like a magnet  but with opposite effect.
