I really like this theme, am looking forward to 2.0 but hoping the changes won't be huge, of course Cosmetic and additions aside, so that I have to re-buy all the extensions I have bought or I will need a loan lol!

Daniel, stupid question time for which I apologise, could it work for the current release of OpenCart as when you stated you were adding to github it made me wonder.

Realy like this theme and layout. :good:

And I was asking me the same question, so I downloaded the version2 files and started testing.

- Quite a lot of changes, missing indexes and so on.
- All installed modules had to be adjusted
- New common.js. ( attr is replaced by prop )
- colorbox replaced

But: it works so far ...

demo 1.5.5.1
demo 1.4.9.6

Just checked out your link and I like it!

This isn't a question directed to you, but I didn't want to make a second reply:

Is the description, attributes, etc tabs and text section going to be formatted to expand across the page instead of only being in line with the product images?

This is a really good template.

I will wait for the features list to see whats new/changed. I would however suggest left hand side categories to only show the sub-categories of the main landing category instead of the all the top level categories as they are already visible on the top navigation. I see in the template they have been highlighted in grey. see attachment.

But as i say, i will wait for the final build then suggest. Otherwise overall, very good template and cannot wait for the release. i have always been an early adopter so looking forward to this.

Thanks

It's a beautiful thing. Super glad you decided to go with Twitter bootstrap. Awesome framework!

One small adjustment I might recommend is to make the registration fields display in two side by side columns for larger displays. Other than that... it rocks!

Very nice. Very minimal and apple-esk. The slider and carousel are much nicer! I like the menu with the "See all" links, and the wee bootstrap triangle.

The big thing of course is its responsive! yaaaaay.

Yeh the not lining up thing is only because product 8 has no description really. This would be rare. The only solution I would see would be to make the caption a min-height:

Code: Select all

.product-thumb .caption {
    min-height: 170px;
    padding: 0 20px;
}
Love the product view.

Good work!

I like the responsive web theme, works well on both mobile devices as well as desktops.

the side sliding menu is a better solution for mobile websites compared to the dropdown list.
an example is here using boostrap and Jquery http://tech.xtremelabs.com/html5-facebo ... -collapse/#_

The link in Daniel's opening post doesn't seem to work. I looked at the one in the post by pprmkr.

If that's what it looks like it will be awesome ;D

I would love to see the product description the the right of the product image and the other info in the bottom.
the product description is one of the most important aspect of e-commerce. the product description should not be located in a separate tab.
