I don't understand what you are doing.

category queries and keywords are added to the seo_url table by admin itself when you add/edit a category. and they look like:
query: category_id=xxxx
keyword: yyyy

you don't need to mess with the seo_url class like this.

Not sure why you're confused, all the suggestions you made did not work properly as I explained. The auto generated information does not display the page correctly (no breadcrumbs) nor get added to the site's navigation. This works for now and is pretty simple. At a minimum it will need the canonical changed before I'd go live with it. I am still in the process of understanding if OC will even work for me, this proves the links won't be a problem, so I can move onto other questions.
