Hi
Does anyone know if there is any way to use open cart as a pawn shop management/retail solution ?
Obviously all the ecommerce part is there, as is the custom page generation needed to run the actual website front end from, but I need a way to manage 'buy back' type transactions, where a customer pawns an item for a given amount, then has a certain amount of time to pay back plus the fee and retrieve the item, or if not then the item goes up for sale.
Does anything like that exist ? I know there are other softwares out there for this purpose, but I would prefer to use opencart as I am familiar with it already and like it a lot.

All advice very much appreciated. Cheers !

Even if there's no default functionality or no extension exists on the market, you can always pay a developer to create the one.

Professional OpenCart extensions, support and custom work.

Hi,

To assign a custom job, you could always create a new service request in the Commercial Support section of the forum. If you'd like, since this service request seem to be specific, this topic could be moved to the Commercial Support section for you. Please let us know.

The most generated errors being found on Opencart forum originates from contributed programming. The increased post counters are caused by redundancies of the same solutions that were already provided prior.

Cheers guys - I'm going to have a chat with the person concerned, then see what he want's to do, but I think he's ok to throw a bit of cash at it. Thanks again !
