USPS 1st class won't show up no matter what I seem to do

Hello,
I've read everything about this problem that I could find... Some people say that if I switch the First-Class Parcel to First-Class Package Service - Retail in the two usps.php files that it should work. I saw it changed in my USPS extension and now I can select First-Class Package Service - Retail but my customers still only get the priority option with USPS and not the First class... I cleared cache after I changed the files and still nothing. I make sure the products are under 16 ounces. I used the GitHub file as well and still nothing. Is there anything else I can try? I had it working on my last open cart store. I believe it was one version 3.02 and it worked fine. Now it doesn't wanna work for me. I've pulled my hair out for 2 days now
Gotta big opening at 4pm today.
Anyone have any ideas?
