Trying to do a test on new install, when I add an item to the cart is shows 1 item in cart at top but when I click cart it brings up message saying cart is empty, despite as attachment shows there is 1 item in cart
(the box showing 1 item was green before I clicked it, it then turned red.)
using 2.3.0.2

It can be a cache issue or problem in loading the mini cart.
You can email us at support@cartbinder.com we can check it.

I have tried it both with registered and guest accounts same thing happens, you can add as many items to the cart as you want but soon as you go to checkout or click my cart button it says cart is empty

Maybe there is more code that removes it.

Contact your theme developer.
Temporally disable any extensions / modules that effect your cart.
Post (or PM someone with it) your web address so people can check rather than keep attempting to pick the right cherry out of the air.

Or post in the commercial section viewforum.php?f=88 and someone will quote to fix.

Kind Regards,

Theme developer dosnt reply to emails unfortunatly
I disabled all extensions and modules made no difference
site is www.3dlasercraft.com
I know there is something missing from new install as my product images were missing and I had to copy in the folder.
I also have not been able to use the restore command in settings/tools/backup/restore in just keeps saying my backup file is empty when I upload, but its not, I also tried doing backup then renaming orig file to the new backup name it just said same thing. Tried with about 6 backup files I have from past 2yrs.
shipping is active, paypal payment and products have stock, tried both as guest and registered customer

Well, I recalled to have been testing the free Hekimabi-Themes,
but I don't recall, if that function then worked. But I tested them
again now, and I could NOT get that Header Cart Box to open up
in any of them, for what unknown to me reason ever.
I downloaded 2 .js and 2 .css Files from a working Demo Theme, you
could test-replace them with the files you use in your OC Installation,
to find out, if it eventually works with them. They are placed in the OC
Default Javascript Section (common.js) and javascript/jquery/ ... Section
(owl- ...), but first only change the common.js file.
Good Luck!

How did you get that cart drop down I cannot get that to come up,
I cant see anything in htaccess that is wrong I tried turning turning globals and magic quotes off but just got error 500
I did dioscover there was both a htaccess and a htaccess.txt file in my root so I deleted the htaccess as it was the same but made no difference

There seems to be an issue with the SSL as when I type in www.3dlasercraft.com to the addres bar it shows secure but soon as I click anything in the site it shows not secure
I have tried on firefox and my android phone and site is showing not secure all the time so I have contacted the host provider to sse if there is an issue

If you are not able to fix yourself then you can post on Commercial section and pay someone to fix for you.

The hosting company added this to the htaccess file

Code: Select all

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} 3dlasercraft\.com [NC]
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://3dlasercraft.com/$1 [R,L
site secure is now fixed but now I cant even add an item to cart, plus something has happened the bullets beside names on menus etc!

Thanks you hit it on the head, the hosting company developer left out the www before 3dlasercraft in the code he added to fix the not secure issue.
Site is now working again correctly at last, hooray!!
I know I was probably a pain but thanks everyone for their contributions, much appreciated, very frustrating when you had a site that was working perfectly until you made the big mistake of moving servers !
