Hello,

I have change the name of a product and the URL. The problem is that Google has the old URL indexed and when people search on Google that product and click on my link, they go to a 404 error page. Is there anyway that I can merge/redirect the old link that does not exist anymore with the new link until Google gets the new link indexed?

Kind regards,
R.

Thanks, but I'm on version 2.2.0.0 so it's not compatible.

mine does it automatically when changing seo url keywords in admin so no need to manually keep and manage a redirect list but is not free.

I tries to install the module you linked but when I copy "LJK-redirects.xml" in vqmod/xml the website stop working and I get error 500.

I'm sorry, I'm a beginner so any help it's much appreciated and I definitely can offer more than a cup of coffee.

If you are still looking for a solution then you can try OpenCart SEO Redirect extension by which you can redirect all of your 404 pages. The extension is compatible with OpenCart version 2.0.0.0 - 3.0.3.2 (2.2.0.0 also). In case you need any help with the installation of the extension, our development team is always there for you. Do check the Admin and Front demos of the extension to know the extension's functionality better.
