Stop email to customer upon ordering

How do I stop OC2.2 from sending an email to the customer when they order something?
I have a site of free downloads so they dont need notification.

Hi,
Is simple,
  • you must edit (with WordPad e.x.) the file catalog/model/checkout/order.php
  • find $mail->send();
  • replace with //$mail->send();
  • //$mail->send();
