Hi,
Just to be sure, do I set the files within the system folder to 644? I know the cache is 777 and the start up is 444. I am just not sure about the individual files with in it.

Thanks.

CHMOD 777 should NEVER be used, it's the most dangerous setting possible on a server.
Just to have it mentioned, once again. Switch to 775 at most, and if any Software will not work,
because of this, kill it!

Well, there is a lot of crab-information on the web. And a lot of software, wich
is not placed/stored secure, because some Installers ignore some fundamental facts.

But if you want to find out about, just click this links below, and you will see a lot of
WIDE OPEN DOOR 777 Sites, where you can get all kinds of great stuff, partly even
complete Software, without anyone beeing aware of. And on some of those Sites,
one could possibly even upload something, if one knows, how to do it...

Well, depending on the OC Version used, some links in this PHP File have to be changed,
but it works well, and it CHMOD's all your Directories and Files correctly.
Good Luck!
