Compose cart choosing a box with fixed capacity of items, then fill the box

Hi, i know this maybe a complex feature, but someone knows if there is a way to force users to choose a "box" with x capacity (4 items, 10 items, 15 items, etc.) and then let the users putting items (same or different) inside it. Eventually one or more boxes.
Example:
ITEMS IN STORE: P1, P2, P3, P4
AVAILABLE BOXES: B1 (4 items), B2 (10 items)
User picks box B1, then fills it with 1xP1, 3xP3
User picks box B2, then fills it with 3xP1, 1xP2, 4xP4
The user then checks out the 2 boxes.

Its pretty complex. How would the pricing work. By product or by box? i.e. are the items/products actually priced. Also how is shipping calculated.. by box or item

Pricing is the sum of product prices, shipping by products too.
