Hi Guys

I do not use the stock control functionality in opencart (as a run a retail shop as well with out stock control methods). I therefore installed a mod (rightly or wrongly) that removes the availability notice on all items in the shopping cart. What I want to do is manually say if an item is out of stock....in other words all items will show as available but an out of stock message will show if I manually change it to being out of stock.

How do I do this?

Why not set the out of stock message you want, then put all your products to 99999 quantity except the ones you want to show out of stock which you set to 0 quantity.

@bigfellani5: Write me a PM with your email, so I can contact you, I might be able to modify one of my modules to work the way you want ;)

would be nicer rather than playing with stock levels to have a drop down on the data page of the product to set the availability as "available" or "out of stock"
