Hi, guys
I'm on 2.3.0.2
I got a little inconvenience, in order list , while I change order status, I have to manually check "notify client" option , to send email to client.
so I want it to have checked in default , instead of manually check it.
I looked in

Code: Select all

admin/view/template/sale/order_info.tpl
I found lines like this

Code: Select all

                    <input type="checkbox" name="override" value="1" id="input-override" />
                    <input type="checkbox" name="notify" value="1" id="input-notify" />
so I added

Code: Select all

checked
it becomes like this :

Code: Select all

                    <input type="checkbox" name="override" value="1" id="input-override" checked/>
                    <input type="checkbox" name="notify" value="1" id="input-notify" checked/>
and guess what ? yes... nothing happens
I tried numbers of approaches I found in google, like

Code: Select all

checked="checked"
,

Code: Select all

checked=1
...etc
but couldn't get it work ...
any idea please ?

Hi,

Make sure after you edit the file. Press refresh icon on Admin - extension - modification page to see the change.

Thanks, but i wasn't using OCmod, i was directly editing the file so think this is not issue, but will try with it to see if I missed this step

Yes i know you are not using. But if any mod is working on same file it still won't work without refresh.
Also this is just one necessary step. It may or may not work. May be there might be something more to dig for.
