I get this error:
PHP Warning: ftp_chdir(): Can't change directory to public_html/shop/: No such file or directory in /home1/user/public_html/shop/admin/controller/extension/installer.php on line 298
Line 298, is in bold red:
// Connect to the site via FTP
$connection = ftp_connect($this->config->get('config_ftp_hostname'), $this->config->get('config_ftp_port'));

if ($connection) {
$login = ftp_login($connection, $this->config->get('config_ftp_username'), $this->config->get('config_ftp_password'));

if ($login) {
if ($this->config->get('config_ftp_root')) {
$root = ftp_chdir($connection, $this->config->get('config_ftp_root'));
} else {
$root = ftp_chdir($connection, '/');
}
I have installed OpenCart (2.3) not in root, but in a folder. It's a fresh installation with default theme. FTP settings are OK, because I see the temporary files of extensions in folder system/storage/upload.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks.

What have you got set up in the FTP connection settings in the admin?
(Remember to blank out the password before posting).

Thanks for the answer.

Here are my setings:
FTP Host: ftp.mydomain.net
FTP Port: 21
FTP Username: ocftp@mydomain.net
FTP Password: *******
FTP Root: public_html/shop/ (I have also tried /public_html/shop/ without result)
Enable FTP: Yes
As I said, it seems that the extension is uploaded, but cannot be installed. I tried many of them, even only these for my OpenCart version.

I think your FTP root could be wrong.

If you use Filezilla or another client to log in to FTP, and then go up as many directories as possible, what can you see?

I don't use Filezilla. However, I have the same settings in my Android phone FTP client and I connect without problem. I can see every folder and file.

Okay but do what I said - go up as many levels as possible by clicking the .. folder and tell us what you see?

I went till to the .xml file of the temporary folder of extension. Folders opened without problem. I delete, as well, the temporary extension folder in system/storage/upload.
