Can I have a private or disabled product category that can be accessed by a URL included in an email? In other words is there a way to provide a sale category available to the opt in bulk mail list but not available through the opencart menu?
I spent some time and answered my own question. The answer is yes. Actually, the desired category can be enabled. Don't put in any of the SEO stuff and don't add a location for the category. Then a URL with a route straight to the category gets the job done. One more puzzle solved. Only one more to go.
