Hi,
I'm having a very strange problem when I try to copy my website on to a sub domain.
My main website is mysite.com
and I am trying to make a copy of it on demo.mysite.com
I duplicated the database and the files and transferred them over. I also edited both config files (the one in the root and in the admin folder) and updated it with the new database info, new urls and new path locations.
Everything seems to be working fine, but when I try to log into demo.mysite.com/admin
and I press login it takes me to mysite.com/admin
Any Idea why this is happening and what I can do to solve it? Running 2.0.3.1
Thank you
Sure, your settings in the config.php files do NOT MATCH the reality of the Server Path/URL- way of doing it.
So, nobody around here knows, how you HAVE TO set the LINKS and PATH's, on your Server-Settings, so, the
LINKS and PATH's, you defined in the config.php Files, will enable the software, to find it's Stuff. In addition,
you did NOT mention any .htaccess changes either, you made, to make this file work in your 2.Shop.
So, better get in touch with your hoster, to find out, how to set everything up correctly.
Good Luck
Ernie
