That link is to your own account so we cant see the extension

One more thing you can try is to goto cpanel where your root files are and go to upload/system/modification, if there is a folder in that folder called "system" then rename it to "system-old" then refresh your web browser ONLY, and see if that makes any difference

That might help to narrow down your problem

the error just shows it pointing to a different file now:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/disifin/web/shop.disifin.co.uk/public_html/vqmod/vqmod.php on line 224

Fatal error: Class 'controllercommon' not found in /home/disifin/web/shop.disifin.co.uk/public_html/system/engine/loader.php on line 28

would you be able to download a fresh 2.1.0.1 version from here and compare the loader.php file with your own one, using winmerge or similar

so compared the 2 and they are identical.

the only difference is with the one in the modification folder.

still says:

Fatal error: Class 'controllercommon' not found in /home/disifin/web/shop.disifin.co.uk/public_html/system/storage/modification/system/engine/loader.php on line 28

This is what I got after clicking your link.

I would disable htaccess (rename to htaccess.txt) and vqmod by uploading a fresh index.php and disable all ocmods (refresh modification cache after!)
Make sure your config files are correct.
And than add everything in one by one starting with ssl.
Than your extensions, one by one to see what's causing this. You do have an seo mod that has issues. sluggify() method is not from opencart.
Elimination is key.
Hopefully you'll get it sorted!

Attn: I no longer provide OpenCart extensions, nor future support - this includes forum posts.
Reason: OpenCart version 3+ ;D

Thanks!

so... after going through rebuilding the site from scratch on a separate domain.. it transpires it related to some rogue custom code on the view/theme/*/template/Product pages!! nothing relating to what the bloody error was!

i just want to thank you for your support!

got there in the end :)
