paypal advance payment processing issues

I am using PayPal Advance to process all my payments. I have recently started to experience the following issue:

The customer enters his/her credit card information and clicks on PayNow and the following error message shows up:

Some required information is missing or incorrect. Please correct the fields below and try again.

Error: There is a problem with your card. Please verify card details with your Bank.

However, the payment still gets processed but the order does not get created. I end up having to refund the customer. Can someone please help with this issue?
