Image Manager upload problems "Directory does not Exist"

Hi,

I am running OC version 2.0.2.0. Recently, my client started having a problem when attempting to upload new banner images via Image Manager. The Image Manager itself no longer shows the thumbnails and directories when clicked, see below:



Then, when I attempt to upload an image, I get an error that reads "Warning: Directory does not exist!"



All of the images that are currently on the website still show up and are in their respective directories; we just can't upload new ones. I checked the config.php settings and verified that my "https" urls were updated. I renamed and refreshed the "image/cache" folder. I will note that my client uploaded a banner image that was way larger than the original banner dimensions before we started having problems - could this have anything to do with it?

Any other ideas? Does anyone know what directory the uploaded images are supposed to go to?

I am having the same problem, though only I have been uploading images not a client.

I also uploaded the images via ftp but still no luck.

The problem is new since I last signed into the site

You can try to set permission 777 for folder image/catalog and check the problem again.

We resolved this issue. There was a typo in the config file!!!

Inside the admin/config.php,
Make sure the following line points to the right directory:

define('DIR_IMAGE', '/home/[account_name]/public_html/path/to/your/opencart/image/');

but also when i open the image manager, it does't show anything , also i can't create a file or delete . anithing
