Newbie here. I'm hoping someone will take pity on me and throw me a bone. I edited my config.php file in my home folder (not admin) and now I'm getting a parse error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'HTTPdefine' (T_STRING) in /home/A/public_html/config.php on line 2

I did not save my original config file of course, and I'm thinking it has to do with errant characters placed in the file by wordpad. Anyway, here is the config file contents:

HTTPdefine('HTTP_SERVER', '');
// HTTPSdefine('HTTPS_SERVER', '');
// DIRdefine('DIR_APPLICATION', '/home/A/public_html/catalog/');
define('DIR_SYSTEM', '/home/A/public_html/system/');
define('DIR_LANGUAGE', '/home/A/public_html/catalog/language/');
define('DIR_TEMPLATE', '/home/A/public_html/catalog/view/theme/');
define('DIR_CONFIG', '/home/A/public_html/system/config/');
define('DIR_IMAGE', '/home/A/public_html/image/');
define('DIR_CACHE', '/home/A/public_html/system/cache/');
define('DIR_DOWNLOAD', '/home/A/public_html/system/download/');
define('DIR_UPLOAD', '/home/A/public_html/system/upload/');
define('DIR_MODIFICATION', '/home/A/public_html/system/modification/');
define('DIR_LOGS', '/home/A/public_html/system/logs/');
// DBdefine('DB_DRIVER', 'XXXXX');
define('DB_HOSTNAME', 'XXXXX');
define('DB_USERNAME', 'XXXXX');
define('DB_PASSWORD', 'XXXXX');
define('DB_DATABASE', 'XXXXX');
define('DB_PORT', 'XXXX');
define('DB_PREFIX', '8sm_');

Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

It should be

Code: Select all

define('HTTP_SERVER', '');
and not

Code: Select all

HTTPdefine('HTTP_SERVER', '');
