I am currently experiencing a bizarre situation where the Maintenance mode function keeps turning itself on!
I am the only person with access to the backend and have not changed the store settings.

This is the third time that this has happened?! I have changed my user name and password for the backend also to check it wasn't an intruder. Can anyone shed any ideas or light on this? Could this be a bug with 2.0.3.1? I have not heard about it before, but it cannot keep on happening!

Are you refreshing the modifications in

extensions > Modifications > refresh

I have done yes.... why? Does that activate maintenance mode?

It is small bug OpenCart 2.0.3.1. When you go to admin > Extensions > Modifications > click on the Refresh button, your store will enable the maintainance mode automatically. You should upgrade to OpenCart 2.1.0.1 to fix it.

It's not a bug.. it's a feature.... albeit and unwelcome one.

I'll give it a try and I believe it's happening with 2.1.0.1 as well.
