It looks like 2.0.2.1 is tentatively slated as the next release. As far as I know there's no ETA.
You're getting jokey replies because OpenCart follows its own versioning where the first and second digits only get incremented on big releases. So 2.1.x would be the next major version after 2.0.x. The numbering is:
It's not 100% consistent (upcoming 2.0.2.1 should really be 2.0.3.0 since it has new features) but it'll apply to most releases.
