After sending a newsletter, the success message first said:
Your message has been successfully sent to 0 of 38 recipients!
It updated to:
Your message has been successfully sent to 10 of 38 recipients!
And then:
Your message has been successfully sent to 20 of 38 recipients!
It stopped there. Does that mean 18 recipients didn't get a newsletter? Has anyone else experienced this?
I got 15 instances of the following error in the error log:
2015-02-22 13:46:19 - PHP Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Could not execute mail delivery program '/usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i ' in [...]/html/system/library/mail.php on line 162

It appears I need a way to throttle how fast OpenCart tries to send out each email. My host, Media Temple, allows:
- 50 emails per minute
- 500 emails an hour
Even though I didn't reach the 50 mark tech support thinks the speed at which the 38 were being mailed one after the other still may have caused the issue.

Honestly I would change to a decent hosting company.

Says the guy that offers "affordable OC migrations". Lol. Media Temple is an industry staple used by companies like Adobe and jQuery. Go spam your services in someone else's thread.
Well I was just giving my opinion, I'm sorry if you are somehow related to the service, I didn't mean to offend, I just wouldn't pay for a service with such limitations myself.
