So, this is a bug in the Opencart 2.0.1

Every time I update the status and I DO NOT check the "notify customer", they get an email anyway.

This is not supposed to happen. My company has an order chain. Each department (administrative assistants, warehouse, accounting, shipping, and etc) change the order status so we know who has the order. This bug is going to annoy the customer as they do not need to be notified every step of the way via email.

In our 1.5 store we only check the box if we want to notify the customer (such as if the order is on backorder)

Anyone know of a fix? Or are the developers going to fix this?
