Hi there!
I tried to change some links by editing footer.tpl. Strange thing is some of the links I added or changed appeared in the homepage (those I did first) and some refuse to show on the homepage. I have tried to clear cache, vqcache. My vqmod is the latest version. I can't find any other suggestions in community forums.
There's one Error log : PHP notice: could not load template......./footer.tpl!!in ......./loader.php on line 45 ( I can't copy the whole sentence, therefore I bypass the paths in the middle).
Please can someone be so kind as to help me with this problem? My homepage is Http://i-presenter.se/
Thanks in advance
With best regards

If you can show me exactly what you did in the script, I can correct the errors for you.
If you tell me exactly what you want done in the footer, I can show you exactly what to do in the script to do it.
I messed with the footer for a few weeks and taught myself everything about it.

Hi Selective555!
I don't know why I did't receive yout reply to my posted question untill I go in to check my post today.
I attached here two pictures, one is from footer.tpl, another one is from my homepage. If you compare those red areas in these two pictures, you'll understand what I mean.
The strange thing is that the other changes I made earlier worked but these two I changed a little bit later don't show on the homepage. It seems that the footer.tpl cannot be changed now.
Thanks a lot in advance.

You should remove this from all of your web links
When using any web links in any script, just start with the forward slash, and the first folder or file that would come immediately after the domain name. This way, if you ever need to move your web site to another domain name, all the links will work with whatever the domain name happens to be, then you won't have to hunt through endless pages of script to change every single link by hand.
About the two lines in your footer that won't change now, it appears you used "" in the names, which interfered with the css tpl script of the footer. Try copying the entire footer.tpl to your computer, then delete the entire footer.tpl from your web site. Save your web site, then try putting the entire footer.tpl back to your web site and save your web site again, then refresh your browser pages, and see if that works.
