I add this code to htaccess, however, when i click on the update button on shopping cart it doesn't work. how do i change the url of the button to https?

Or else i have to change the http urls to https in the config.php
first check your config files and see that the https goes to the right url ie https://www.yourdomain.com
if there is www. in your config files edit the lines in your htaccess to
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.rasahydroponics.com/$1 [R=301,L]
there are still some pictures sent through http messing up your padlock
