Hello

I am using opencart and I have Version 1.2 Now I want to make an update. I installed the new 1.5.1.1 for testing a bit. I tried to include my old data from the Version 1.2 into the new one, but it didnt work. If i try to include i get this message:
Error: Table 'opencart.coupon_description' doesn't exist
Error No: 1146
TRUNCATE TABLE `coupon_description`
So is it even possible to get my very old Data in the new version? And what is the easiest way for reaching this?

Thank you very much!

when you say 1.2, do you mean opencart from back in 2009?

It sounds like its going to be a pain.
You'll need to research the upgrade steps from 1.2 to 1.3 to 1.4 etc etc
It'll take quite a while, and at the end of the process it mightn't even work properly.

Possibly a better route (but more complex) is to analyse the database table structure of your current version and the latest version and manually map the columns between the databases.

If I were doing this i'd expect this to take at least a week.
