Hi All, if somebody can help me. First, sorry if my english not good.
I just make a fresh install oc V1.4.9.3.
I have an issue about mail function. When consumer order product they should get confirmation email but they didn't get one. I tried with 3 different mails as a consumer (gmail, yahoo and my office email). For admin, I always get confirmation email every time get an order. But not for consumer. I put 3 additonal alert email in System>Setting>Mail (mail@yahoo, mail@gmail and mail@domain.com). With mail@domain.com, I always get an alert when a consumer buy product but not the others two.

I tried to contact Consumer from Sales>Mail. The message was "Your message has been successfully sent!" but when I checked my inbox, I got nothing. Can somebody help me.

Thx before.

If you can get the email from @domain.com that means no problem with smtp setting, you can contact your server admin and have a check on smtp log for further fix.

Thanks Linc for your replay.
I think there is something in the script that make confirmation email for outside email domain such yahoo, gmail or other didn't received. I tried as a consumer with my domain email (consumer@domain.com), and when I made a purchase, I got confirmation email.

But if I send an email from my domain email to other email such us yahoo or gmail directly, there is no problem. I can see them in my inbox.

For mail setting I'm using 'mail' option for mail protocol and left blank for the others. In General email setting I put admin@domain.com for E-mail option. And also I put support@domain.com in additional email alerts.

I have asked my server administrator about this, but still waiting for the answer. Perhaps, I can get one from the member of this forum.

Thx.

I got this problem solved. All I have to do, just asked server admin to move my hosting to another one with phpmail enable. I set mail protocol to 'mail' and left others empty and all mail function already work now.
