Hi, my directory is getting very messy and I'm getting allot of errors. I figured its probally best to make a fresh install, I don't mind setting the site up again because it shouldn't take too long. But I would prefer not to have to enter all the products again.

Whats the easiest way to back up the data? And also is a fresh install as simple as deleting the current directory and installing the new opencart?

thanks.

i would also make a database backup using phpmyadmin, if you have extra tables in ypur database created by extra mods, restoring database through admin sometimes does not work.

I would probably backup the entire account just to be safe. That way you can revert to exactly what you had before you started moving to the fresh install should it not work how you planned.
