Site up and running but need to make a additional stores (multi-stores) and would like to have a 'splash page' or 'home page' that folks will see first when they access the domain that will provide them with the choice to choose the site to access for their country. Not sure how to 'insert' this into the opencart program? Appreciate some step-by-step instruction. Thanks!
Easiest way is to create a page in any html editor program and upload it to your store's root folder as index.html
Most hosts will load index.html ahead of any other pages in your directory. You may need to set it in htaccess to favor the html page, but probably won't.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.9 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.
How do i create another file with index.html when there is an already "index.html " file that came with all opencart install in the root directory? or can i name it something else like "index2.html" ?labeshops wrote:Easiest way is to create a page in any html editor program and upload it to your store's root folder as index.html

There shouldn't be an index.html that came with opencart - the one with opencart is index.php
You might want to open that .html one and see what it is - perhaps something old?
