Hi,
We recently had an SSL cert installed on our site at www.worldwhiskies.com, but Open Cart is failing to automatically switch over to https:// when entering customer info etc.
According to whynopadlock.com etc., there are no problems with the cert. And when I physically enter "https://..." as the URL, everything works fine, so I can only assume the problem lies with OC.
And yes, I made the proper changes to the config files and in admin.
I spent about 3 hours in the forums etc. trying to figure the problem out, but to no avail, so I'm posting here.
Any help or hints would really be appreciated!
Thanks
Al
you probably just missed out turning on the ssl function in the admin > settings or you did not updated your config.php filesAlasdairM wrote:Hi,

You'll want to mind all details, including "www." and proper trailing "/" and no stray or missing "s". The points we've posed fit into how-to, we've each suggested something particular over apparent odds.
It may help while changing such settings to flush caches -- /system/cache/ and /vqmod/vqcache/ and /vqmod/vqmod.cache (delete or in vq case install highly recommended and free vqmod manager and use that, http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... ername=rph).
