How can you see the admin area, when you haven't installed the shop?
First make the install ready, then you can go into admin.
Are you trying to go to admin from the old installation? This can't work.
You're link only give the install-start page, so no one can help as long as you haven't installed.

I think he is wanting you to PM him with the information he needs to run the install for you. You should not give this sensitive information in the forum.

quite frankly I think he needs to hire someone to install and maintain his webstore because if he can't manage the install I do not see smooth sailing ahead.

Something is going wrong with this, really.
I made a new download, then made a complete new upload for him, install was working fine, came to the point, where i can go to Admin and into the Shop.

Click on "Login to your Administration" gave out the warning message
Warning: require_once(DIR_SYSTEMstartup.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\Hosting\4287282\html\upload\admin\index.php on line 6

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'DIR_SYSTEMstartup.php' (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in D:\Hosting\4287282\html\upload\admin\index.php on line 6
and click on "Goto your Online Shop" brought me straight back to the beginning of the install-page.

My knowledge ends here, sorry.
Had never such a problem, when installing my shop (did it twice on 2 different hostings).
Now i only can hope for him, that someone can tell him, what this error messages means and how to solve the problem.

looks like he went with zencart.
I tried zencart and oscommerce before going with opencart and found them both to be a royal pain.

Same here, and i swear, never again zencart or oscommerce. Opencart is the best (in my eyes) and i'm really happy with it.
