Not sure about the fedex in oc2.x but if you need a guaranteed working FedEx with a lot more features, I have one here:

I have same problem, anyone find the fix to this? I can get usps and UPS to work fine, but fedex isn't having it.

There is seemed to be several different problems of fedex not working in Opencart 2.0 and no solutions.

I decided to look into it myself. It may not be a complicated problem but it is a frustrating one.
From the Fedex documentation, it looks like Opencart is using v10 of Non-soap and sending xml using curl. The xml coding could be wrong and is what causing the problems.

The Fedex support recommends to use the latest which is v18. When I followed the examples I still could not get it to work. Somehow I do not understand how the wsdl xml should be written. May be someone can help here.

The version and medium isn't the issue. The core fedex does work. The issue is that there aren't very clear errors for the problems. usually just "ERROR". But normally the issue is your account details aren't correct.

surprised it doesn't have a debug mode option.

My problem is that I can't get it to work when shipping from a zip not in my tax class.
Im based in MN, so that's where my tax class is set up, but my product is shipped from TX. My FedEx credentials work fine as it works when my origin zip is in my tax class, but as soon as i change it to the TX zip, i get the error.
Module is set to all zones and i have 2 geo zones, MN and USA
i'm just at a loss...

does it work if your origin zip code in FedEx settings is outside of your tax class? That's where I get hung up and get an error. I drop ship so I collect tax in 1 state while products are shipped from a different state. Just can't get it to work..

I ended up using qphoria solution for fed ex... it was an awesome experience.. didnt work right out of the box for what I needed and He got it fixed within hours...

Then months later I ran into something unusual and he had it fixed again within hours... stop trying to make the OC fedex system work and just use the qphoria solution....

The solution is great but I can't say enough good things about the developer!!! >> https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=19227

sorry looks to me more like advertisement for an extension... anyway nothing wrong with that :-) if it did the job.
I found that in the standard module there is the following fedex URL $url = 'https://gateway.fedex.com/web-services/';
Whereas I got the following production URL https://ws.fedex.com:443/web-services with the registration email by fedex
Will It Work When replacing the URL in the script standard module catalogue module fedex?
More things needed to get it working??
