Im using OC 2.3

Best way to set up products for USPS Shipping options?
What info does USPS use on the product to determine shipping costs?
Are there any paid Mods to use that are better for this than the USPS one in the extensions?
I see where a product dimension is set in the USPS Ext. But my products will vary greatly in size.
I have set up a webtools account.

Any help is appreciated.

thanks

The built-in USPS shipping method uses only weight to determine its rates, not item size. If you want something that can factor in product dimensions as well, I have a USPS Pro extension that does that. It also lets you choose whether each item should go in its own box, or if you want to group them all together to be calculated in a 3-dimensional packing algorithm. (Note: this does require that you have accurate dimensions on all your items.)

Feel free to take a look at the screenshots and demo site, and if you're interested let me know at www.getclearthinking.com/contact if you have any further questions.

The only thing publicly available would be USPS's tracking page:
