I am trying to use Sagepay server for checkout on an OC2.3 site and when doing a test transaction it transfers to Sagepay but the payment fails as the order confirmation redirect url is not supplied.
Most likely a configuration error = any advice gratefully received

No precise OC version posted. From your admin - > extensions - > payments - > sagepay server - > edit page, enable the debug mode. Then, try another transaction and post the reported logs that you see in the logs tab.
The most generated errors being found on Opencart forum originates from contributed programming. The increased post counters are caused by redundancies of the same solutions that were already provided prior.
