So I got a message from Paypal that I need to change my paypal ipn callback by june 2018 when they are changing the system. Any idea how I need to do this? I currently just use Paypal Pro and standard modules that come with v2.x

Here is their info on the change and am lost what I need to do?

Thanks. The notice has now been sent on Github.

The most generated errors being found on Opencart forum originates from contributed programming. The increased post counters are caused by redundancies of the same solutions that were already provided prior.

Paypal pro doesn't use the IPN it uses the legacy nvp api (which is https) , standard paypal does but as ADD says it is already configured for https in opencart 2.

More importantly, make sure your host supports TLS 1.2 - that goes for pretty much all payment gateways next year.

On linux you can test with something like
