Hello guys,
i've create an ecommerce site with tyre products and other automobile stuff and i want them to be filtered based on some attributes. Do you have any good filter extension suggestion with hierarchical structure with any blank entries not to be shown, something like:
Tyres > Size > etc. > etc.

P.S.: I'd like (if possible) for each attribute to be horizontally aligned in a grid, not vertically with full width dropdowns, text inputs etc.

Thank you,
in advance

Dynamic Categories Module can do this, as long as you set up your category hierarchy right. For example, for a Year-Make-Model type of filter, you'd set up the Years as parent categories, the Makes as sub-categories, and the Models as sub-sub-categories. This requires duplicating many category names, but once it's set up, it will work exactly as you want. For example:

2000
2000 > Subaru
2000 > Subaru > Forester
2000 > Subaru > Outback
etc.
2000 > Toyota
2000 > Toyota > Avalon
etc.
2001
2001 > Subaru
etc.

Feel free to take a look at the screenshots and demo site, and if you're interested let me know at www.getclearthinking.com/contact if you have any further questions.
