I can't find an extension for a Print Friendly version of the pages, especially the product page. I am using the default 2.2.0.0 theme. The closest printer friendly version is the SHARE button under the Add to Cart button, from Add This.
Unfortunately, the printed page prints the menu, footer and columns. There should be a separate print-friendly version using CSS. I can not find an extension or any reference to this.
Anyone have an idea what to do, or is this a bug in my installation. Only the contents of the page should print. In particular, the products information and perhaps the site logo, but not everything. CSS should be used to display only what is necessary in the printed version of the page.
You have to additional css definitons for print.
Second change the page and add the css class for printing.
This way those sections are hidden when printing.
