The store has simply stooped working and will no longer load. I can still access all functions in the admin section. Some other editors have been working on other areas of the site but no one will admit to making any modifications to the cart section of the site. I trust my team and have no reason to doubt them

I am using v and as I said it was stable up to yesterday afternoon when I last worked on product images. I have very few mods installed and as part of the troubleshooting I disabled the majority of them. import/export tool, dopro opencart default skin were disabled. VQMOD has been installed but I have not disabled it for trouble shooting.

The store can be found at

here is the complete error text

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'Error: Could not load model total!' in /home/agraweb/domains/ Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: Loader->{closure}(Array, Array) #1 /home/agraweb/domains/ call_user_func_array(Object(Closure), Array) #2 /home/agraweb/domains/ Proxy->__call('getTotal', Array) #3 /home/agraweb/domains/ Proxy->getTotal(Array) #4 [internal function]: ControllerCommonCart->index(Array) #5 /home/agraweb/domains/ call_user_func_array(Array, Array) #6 /home/agraweb/domains/ Action->execute(Object(Registry), Array) #7 /home/agraw in /home/agraweb/domains/ on line 169

The text in red concerns me a bit as it does not match the path listed in the previous lines of the error text.

With nobody having edited the text I have to consider the possibility of a hack attempt. I can reset the store to last week's backed up version but that store is v 1.5 and I would have to several modifications to get back to where I was yesterday.

I don't think it is a hack attempt because this looks like a common error to me. Saying that, I've been wrong before ...

My guess is that you don't have ANY "Total" extensions enabled at this time, and for this reason the Cart returns this error when you try to open it. The code is not perfect because it expects at least 1 type of "Total".
So try enabling one "Total" extension and test again.

If you do have at least 1 "Total" extension enabled, then you are missing the model loader in your Cart Controller.

I hope this helps.

I do have the original total module enabled. Model loader matches the file I have on my previous back up. We chose to restore everything to the back up made last friday and reapply the image edits I made over the week end. I would have preferred to find the cause of the error so that I could prevent it from happening again. I may have to post this as a new topic but if someone can suggest a way to freeze the current code and prevent any modifications whether intentional or hack attempts, I am all ears

Merci pour votre aide
