So I looked at it, and it turns out when loading an admin backend page, it also does calls to external 3rd party servers, e.g. for getting the 'awsome' font. This can be slow in places like the UK (unlike Hongkong ;) ) which has virtually no proper fibre broadband. So my suggestion is to perhaps keep a local copy of the awesome font with the OpenCart server?
Forgot this before.
Another problem could be (more relevant for devs and agencies) when they have no internet connection and want to work with a local copy only.
So, a local copy (or fallback) would be nice.

The admin looks fantastic! I love how easy it is now to add custom fields too.

I really like it. It has that Wordpress simplicity that people love.

There's no such thing as "XHTML5" and no way to test compliance. Using "/>" to end tags is an optional syntax style of HTML5.

I think he meant XHTML 1.1 which does require correct / in BR IMG etc - as you say html5 its optional. 1.1 standard only applies to HTML 4 (something). The down side to using html5 standard is that it plays hell with XML parsers when reading a document.

Personally I'm a fan of using / in those elements even just for standards sake but sadly summer note devs don't care about it as they built it based on html5 :(

Personally the things i think we really need are the following

ON ADMIN PAGE "DASHBOARD"
  • Abandoned Live Carts
    Active products
    Registered customers
    Out of stock
Something similar to this dashboard from another cart which some of you might be familiar with.

It's super clean but there's a big issue with the UI flow. Why are the search/save/submit buttons at the top of the page? Unless you complete forms backwards you work down the page (top left to bottom right) and then have to scoot back up to save/search.

Can you pop these buttons in their natural place, under the form?
