At the moment the address and telephone number are required fields in the settings, when really they should be optional.

Although all store owners SHOULD add these details, it should be up to them, not us.

We should support these fields as optional.

eh.. what about stores that need them to be required? I think maybe we need some sort of configurator for that controlling that. Otherwise people with stores that need them could get empty fields

If you require an address and the customer forgets to enter something like the city, then it would be bad. I already have this problem with the post code field. It's optional by default and i have new orders without post codes and i have to manually look them up to ship their orders. I changed my code to make it required.

LOL ohhh admin address...

Yea I've said it all along nothing should be required by an admin except when it negatively affects how it is handled elsewhere... like Product "title" is required, otherwise it won't show up on the front end.
