Add Image During Add Product

Hey guys.

Just installed OpenCart which is a great piece of software, but with one little thing is missing which i think would help improve the cart alot.

Not too sure if this has been suggested before..

When adding a product it would help (and save alot of time) if you were given the option to upload/add images while in "Add Product" instead of having to do it before, then selecting the image from the drop down.

I think the current way seems abit long winded and could become confusing when you have hundreds of images to select from in the drop down.

In the meantime, you can achieve this by using the Import/Export Contribution and doing it in the excel spreadsheet

The way I handle images is this:

- upload all your image files in one go to the server's image directory via FTP
- download an exported spreadsheet via OpenCart admin panel
- edit and enter all the image file names into the category or product worksheets
- upload the imported spreadsheet via OpenCart's admin panel, this will add the entries into the DB

I totally agree with woody's point.

I think would be much easier to add products if you could add the image at the same time

Yea, you'd think so... tho zen-cart does it this way and its also a pain to do it that way too. Neither way I've seen implemented is really ideal.
